What a great night at the first co****le tournament! It was a competitive night with many good players and lots of laughs. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported it, and much appreciation to all the volunteers who helped out. Congratulations to our first-place winning team, Wilson and Corralie Smith-Champagne.

We are holding a co****le Tournament at the Selkirk Legion Branch. Join us for a fun evening. There will be a silent auction with a 50/50.

There will be 20 spots for Men and 20 for women with a blind draw. ( picking co-ed partners before the tournament starts ) The cost will be $20 a person. All monies raised will be going to help animals.

Start time : 5:30-12:00-pm
Location: 403 Eveline Street

Winners of the tournament will win Jets Co****le Boards. One set each

This week 3 cats were found in a field with no homes around. Shirley went above and beyond, finding and rescuing them, and providing a loving home. She selflessly transported them to their vet appointments, and we covered all their vetting, including neutering, vaccines, ear mite treatment, and a thorough vet check. They have now all been transferred to our friends at K9 Advocacy Manitoba. Thank you Shirley for your compassion and dedication to helping get them to the vet and fostering them❤️

It has been a busy few weeks, with numerous animals being transported to their designated rescue centers. We extend our gratitude to all the rescue organizations that have accepted these animals into their care. All the animals have received their initial vaccinations and deworming treatments, and some have undergone spaying or neutering procedures. Additionally, we have assisted three different communities with dog and cat food supplies. However, due to the increasing cost of fuel, our transportation expenses have doubled, resulting in a faster depletion of our funds. We will be hosting an auction next week. ❤️🐶💩❤️💩❤️💩😍

When we approached Jessica for assistance in designing a new logo for the team, we had no idea it would be the most beautiful logo. She left us speechless, and we cannot even begin to describe how we feel about what you have created in words. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for undertaking this project for us. ❤️🐾🐕‍🦺

Kitten season is here! Unfortunately, momma was hit by a car and left behind 6 four-week-old kittens. One momma has 4 newborn kittens, and another has 3 kittens. This situation started with a stray cat having one litter, which led to more litters being born. A few caring community members took them all in and reached out for help. Just two males are left, and they will be neutered and cared for by one community member. All kittens will stay with two foster homes and will be transported to Winnipeg with our friends K9 Advocacy Manitoba.

Wallace's remarkable journey began at 4 am on Thursday, with his birth presenting some challenges. Though the exact details are unclear, it's believed that his momma experienced some confusion while cleaning him, resulting in an unfortunate injury to his foot and partial loss of toes on the other. Fortunately, his family swiftly sought help, and within 12 hours, Wallace was en route to the vet. Under the exceptional care of vet tech Jessica from Beausejour Animal Hospital, who has taken him under her wing, Wallace is receiving the medical attention he needs. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Beausejour Animal Hospital for their prompt response and compassion.
