Nobody Fights Alone

Nobody Fights Alone It is our passion to spread awareness on the value of support and the effectiveness of surrounding a person with encouragement and hope.

As angiosarcoma is at the forefront of our minds, any event we put together will be in collaboration with Angiosarcoma Awareness, Inc., and all monies will go to angiosarcoma research.

For those who haven’t heard, our fearless leader, our superhero, our inspiration and our heart needs our prayers now more than ever. His family has moved him into hospice care to make his final days comfortable.

This came on very sudden. You can look back on his posts on his page, and read about his final visit to Houston - though at the time he did not know it would take this turn.

He fought a damn good fight.
He touched many hearts.
He changed many live.

And now let us all take a moment, and do what he encouraged us to always do and tell our loved on s how much we love them. Put your phones down. Put your computers away. And spend quality time. Make memories. Laugh.

[posted July 12, 2018 by Ryan's mom] Ryan has inspirationally battled and waged against Angiosarcoma for a near decade, overcoming again and again as Angiosarcoma pushed back. The most recent scans showed the recent mass was aggressively growing and a new lesion found deeper. He has also experie...

To all of those who have supported and planned to attend the 3rd Annual Troy Angiosarcoma Awareness Run/Walk next month, we sincerely apologize for the lateness of this update. We realize that the race was suppose to be soon. We meant to get this email out much sooner, but Ryan's health has taken an unexpected turn requiring surgery. Rest assured he will be better than okay, but for this reason, getting an event update out to you has taken some extra time.

After strong consideration and discussion between the two of us, we have decided to postpone the event until next year. Requests & demands were asked of our event that were not feasible in the time-frame allotted nor did they fit the design, layout, and overall structure of our event. To relieve stress, anxiety and tension, we ultimately and with great sadness decided upon postponing to regroup and revamp the race. We have our hearts set to hold the event in 2016 and we promise to keep you informed.

We want to thank you for your support the past 2 years. Because of YOUR SUPPORT we raised more than $46,000 with a total profit of $33,000. Those funds went DIRECTLY to Angiosarcoma Awareness, Inc. to be used for research.

If you have any questions, concerns or anything, PLEASE do not hesitate to contact Melissa Chinn. You can reach her at [email protected]. At this time, we are encouraging Ryan to put all of his focus on his family and his health. We invite you to visit his family website at www.nobodyfightsalone.com to keep up with his treatments and progress.

Thank you!

Building support and awareness for Ryan Humphrey and his family.

Today, Ryan begins his 26th round of Taxol for a total of 38 rounds of Chemo. To date, he has endured 4 rounds of AIM (Adriamycin, ifosfamide, mesna), 8 rounds of Gemzar/Docetaxel, and 25 rounds of Taxol. Please pray for this chemo to do it's job and rid of any present or hidden cells.

This past weekend, we spent Saturday evening doing my favorite thing: a bonfire with the family in my backyard. On Sunday we spent the day at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad. We made mo...
