Who We are:
Grand Angels exists because of the Grand people of Grand County who have banded together to serve to help meet the needs of our neighbors. Our team’s focus is to provide a hand up--not a hand out--to people going through difficult times. We strive to be a bridge that connects neighbors in need with local resources. Trinity Church in the Pines donates space and services for our food bank. Therefore, GRAND ANGELS has NO OVERHEAD AND NO EXPENSES. 100% of funds raised go to meet the feed and meet the needs of our neighbors. What We Do:
* Provide food to the hungry * Partner with other organizations to identify best assistance resource
* Provide children with warm clothing, eyeglasses, and other needs * Provide gas for job interviews, medical appointments, etc
* Provide Christmas presents to children to insure basic needs are met
How We do it:
We partner with other county resources to leverage our assets, identify the best source of help and sometimes share costs to help our neighbors. Some of these organizations include:
• Samaritan Ministries
• Grand County Rural Health
• Mountain Family Center
• Advocates Victim Assistance
• Grand County Social Services
• Grand County Council on Aging
In addition to the support of so many of you personally, grants help us achieve our goals. Some of the grants we've received include:
• Grand Foundation
• Rotary Club of Grand Lake
• Lions Club Foundation of Fraser Valley
• Million Dollar Round Table Foundation
• Town of Grand Lake
• Emergency Food and Shelter Board
• Trinity Church in the Pines
