The Giving Club

The Giving Club Mesa County's premiere women's networking and philanthropic gathering Women in Mesa County gather quarterly to nominate and give funds to a local nonprofit.

Every member of the Club writes a check to the designated nonprofit. The winner of our drawing receives over $20,000 in donations! To date, we have donated over $617,300 to nonprofits in Mesa County. Anyone is welcome to join our group!

We beat the heat on Monday and enjoyed this quarter’s Giving Club at The Art Center. After our social time, we heard about this quarters three non-profits: Eureka, Museums of Western Colorado and The Joseph Center. It was a difficult choice, but when the votes were tallied, The Joseph Center will receive this quarter’s gift of over $29,000!

Oh what a night! Another night of giving inching us closer to a club total of One Million Dollars in local giving! Be on the lookout for a refreshed website and information on celebrating this milestone. The three non-profits nominated last night were Grand Rivers Humane Society, Eureka!, and CASA. We heard some impassioned descriptions of these and after the votes were tallied the winner was CASA.

Thanks to everyone who was present last night and congratulations to CASA!
