Some photos of the Order of the Azure Rose at a summer kickoff event for Glenwood Springs Recreation's official pool opening. Fun little event; the candy cannon was a big hit.

The Ren world lost another great individual. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends and Black Scorpions guild members for the passing of Kenneth "Hawk" Hamm. Hawk passed away on May 24, 2023 and his services will take place on June 29, 2023 at Veterans' Memorial Cemetary at 10:00am. Hawk and the Black Scorpions were pivotal in helping bring Renaissance faire culture to Mesa County along with the Pirates of New Providence, the Cherry Tarts, Aes' Dana and other guilds, merchants and guest performers over the years. He will be missed by us all. May his legacy continue in those whose lives he was a part of.

Dates are May 13-14, 2023 at Intermountain Veterans' Memorial Park, next to Mesa County Fairgrounds. See Sharon Taylor at Taylor's Croft for information and details.
