At Mesa County RSVP, we believe in the power of people helping people and thanks to our incredible volunteers, we’re making a real impact every single day.
With 600+ volunteers serving 75+ local nonprofits, our programs reach all corners of the community:
🔨 Handyman Project – Providing ramps, safety modifications, and minor home repairs so seniors can live safely and independently.
📚 Senior Scholar Project – Connecting volunteers with local schools to tutor and mentor students, building confidence and brighter futures.
🏥 SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) – Offering free, unbiased Medicare counseling, helping individuals navigate Medicare, prescription plans, Medicare Savings Programs, and more.
💡 Benefits Enrollment Center – Assisting older adults and individuals with disabilities apply for Medicaid, SNAP, Medicare Savings Programs, and Extra Help (LIS)—making essential resources more accessible.
🤝 Volunteer Connections – Matching passionate individuals with meaningful opportunities across Mesa County, strengthening nonprofits and expanding community impact.
🎉 Community Events & Outreach – From health fairs to volunteer expos, we bring vital services, education, and connection directly to our community.
