The loudest people online are rarely the wisest.

Many Brothers grow frustrated when misinformation about the Fraternity spreads online. And a few times a year, someone goes viral and the cycle starts all over again.

The people represented in this image account for billions of views built on falsehoods about Freemasonry.

They command platforms larger than most of us will ever have. And once those claims are made, ego and pride ensure they are almost never corrected or retracted.

So how do we, as Brothers, respond?

We live by the principles.
We act by the Square.
We remain plumb before God and Man.

Our Fraternity has endured adversaries far more dangerous than online noise. As long as our light shines, darkness will always be visible, but our light does not come from public opinion. It comes from the Great Architect of the Universe.

And as long as He is for us, we shall not fail.

So keep working.
Keep building.
Keep becoming better.

These voices will fade into history, and new ones will rise to take their place. But our tools will remain true, ready, and steady, as we continue the work of making the world better, one Brother at a time.

On this day of remembrance, we honor the memory of all who suffered and perished under N**i oppression—including Freemasons who were targeted for their devotion to moral truth and freedom of conscience.

May history never lose its voice, and may we never forget the cost of silence.

The picture shows a sculpture of the 7 Brothers who formed their own Lodge within a barracks at a concentration camp. Abused, emaciated, the sculpture still shows them as upright men and Masons.
We can all pray the world never sees atrocities like this again. But we can all be thankful that the spirits of good men, looking towards the light, can never be broken.
Even prouder today to be a Mason!!!

Career-Starter Research Grants for the next award period of July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The Foundation has increased the grant amount to $100,000 per grant. March 18, 1314: Jacques DeMolay, the 23rd and final Grand Master of the Knights Templar, was burned at the stake along with Geoffroi de Charney, Master of Normandy; Hugues de Peraud, Visitor of France; and Godefroi de Gonneville, Master of Aquitaine. His goal as Grand Master was to reform the Order, and adjust it to the situation in the Holy Land during the waning days of the Crusades. King Philippe IV of France, deeply in debt to the Templars, had DeMolay and many other French Templars arrested in 1307 and tortured into making false confessions. When DeMolay later retracted his confession, King Philippe had him burned upon a scaffold.
