Thank you to Wingate Elementary for extending the opportunity for a Senior Walk to our Scenic seniors. While we know it won’t be exactly the same, it means so much that they will still get to walk the halls, see some familiar faces, and be recognized for all of their hard work and accomplishments.

Moments like these remind us that it’s not always about everything being perfect, it’s about showing up, supporting one another, and celebrating these kids in every way we can. We’re so grateful for the effort to make this happen!

Smiles were shared, stories were told, and donuts were enjoyed, today’s reunion was so sweet! Although our school may have closed, our community will never die. Thank you to everyone who came 🦊 Be on the lookout for our next play date in May! WHBN!

Scenic may be closed, but the heart of our community is still wide open and beating stronger than ever.

This morning, in the middle of pouring rain, our Scenic family showed up. You stood together wet, cold, but full of warmth, to show that what makes Scenic special was never just a building. It was you. All of you.

Though the doors to Scenic are now closed, the spirit that lived within them is alive and well. You proved that no amount of rain, and no closure, can wash away the passion, connection, and resilience we’ve built together.

We only caught a few photos, but the real moment was seeing all of you out there, showing up not just for a place, but for each other. For the memories, for the community, for everything Scenic has meant to us all.

Thank you for reminding us that this isn’t the end, it’s just a new chapter. And like every chapter before, we’ll face it together, rain or shine. ☔❤️

As you all begin this exciting new chapter, don’t forget to carry your W.H.B.N. with you into your new schools and new adventures.
Each of you has left a special mark on our hearts, and we couldn't be prouder of the incredible individuals you are. Though the hallways may be different and the faces may be new, remember that everything you need is already within you, your kindness, your courage, your determination, and your heart.

We know you're going to do amazing things. Keep believing in yourselves, stay true to who you are, and never forget the community that will always be cheering you on.

We’re thinking of you and sending love as you take this next big step. You've got this, and we’ll always be proud of you.

A former Scenic student took the time to create this very special piece. He did an amazing job at showing the impact school closures have on students and adults alike. He also did an amazing job representing Scenic! (It’s about half an hour long, bring your Kleenex and Tub of Ice Cream)

It’s still hard to believe that the best school — a place that meant so much to so many — has had to close its doors. This school wasn’t just a building. It was a community, a family, and a place where the simple yet powerful motto “Work Hard and Be Nice” wasn’t just written on the walls — it was lived every single day.

From the incredible teachers who poured their hearts into every lesson, to the students who showed up with energy, curiosity, and resilience, and to the parents and staff who supported the school in countless ways — this place was something truly special. The bonds built here, the achievements celebrated, and the challenges overcome together created a legacy that will last far beyond today.

We will miss the laughter, the energy in the classrooms, and the unique spirit that made this school feel like home. Today was a reminder of that spirit — thank you to everyone who came out to say goodbye, to share stories, and to stand together one more time. Your presence meant the world and reminded us that while the school may close, the community it built will carry on.

Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the love. And thank you for making this school a place we’ll never forget.
