What an incredible example of what happens when a community comes together 🧡

We are proud to share that our Brown Bag Lunch Fundraiser raised an amazing $8,500 to support the YWCA and the families we serve!

This fundraiser truly was a community effort, and we are beyond grateful to the members of Faith Christian Church and United Congregational Church for their partnership, dedication, and many years of making this tradition such a meaningful success. Your generosity, hard work, and unwavering support continue to make a lasting impact in our community.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our incredible YWCA staff, their family members, and our Board of Directors who generously gave their time throughout days of preparation, assembly, and delivery. Your willingness to volunteer and serve is what makes events like this possible.

One of the most special parts of this fundraiser was seeing multiple generations working side by side—sharing laughs, building friendships, and giving back together. From longtime volunteers to first-time helpers, every person played an important role, and the joy throughout the week was contagious.

Thank you to everyone who purchased lunches, volunteered, donated, and supported this fundraiser. Together, we're strengthening our community and making a difference for local families every single day.

We're inviting local businesses, organizations, churches, and community groups to join us in making a difference by hosting a food drive to support the YWCA Little Free Pantry.

Every donation helps provide food and essential household items to families in our childcare programs, participants in our services, and community members who need a little extra support. Together, we can ensure no family has to face hunger alone.

Our hearts are full as we wrap up our second round of the Brown Bag Lunch Fundraiser. We are incredibly grateful to both Faith Christian of Grand Island and United Congregational Church of Grand Island for giving us the opportunity to be part of this well-known, long-standing tradition that has made such a meaningful impact in our community.

The overwhelming support from our community continues to remind us how fortunate we are to live and work in a place where people come together to support one another. Every lunch purchased and every encouraging word shared helps strengthen our mission and the work we do each day.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated staff and board members who gave their time and energy over four days of preparation. From planning and organizing to assembling and serving, this fundraiser simply would not be possible without your commitment and teamwork.

Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser and helped make it another success. We are truly grateful for the partnerships, volunteers, and community members who continue to believe in and support our work. ❤️
