Heartland CASA joins our community in mourning the loss of a truly remarkable friend and supporter, Ray O’Conner.
Ray believed in the mission of CASA and, more importantly, he believed in the children we serve. His generosity, encouragement, and unwavering support helped make it possible for us to continue advocating for children who needed someone in their corner.
People like Ray remind us that changing a child’s life isn’t always about one grand gesture. Sometimes it is simply choosing to show up, to give, to believe, and to stand behind a cause that matters.
We are incredibly grateful for every way Ray supported Heartland CASA and the children in our community. His impact will continue through every child who has a CASA volunteer standing beside them.
Thank you, Ray, for believing in our mission and helping us make a difference. Your legacy will live on in the lives you helped touch.
Our deepest condolences go out to Ray’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
