❄️ Giving back to those that support us! ❄️
Our Grand Island Snowmobile Club is proud to support the whole community — not just riders. This week, our crew has been out grooming the Spaulding hiking and cross‑country trails in Beaver Island State Park to help keep it smooth, safe, and enjoyable for everyone who uses it.
We love our trails, we love our island, and we’re always happy to lend a hand!

❄️ What a season we’re having! ❄️

Our snowmobile season has been absolutely fantastic, and we’re thrilled to see so many riders out enjoying the trail! Our grooming team has been out daily, working hard to keep everything smooth, safe, and pristine for all to enjoy!

Thank you for riding within the stakes and helping us make this one of the best seasons yet!

Special thanks to our groomer team for volunteering their time and efforts to keeping these trails so well maintained! What a difference adding a second groomer and drag to the fleet makes! Everyone's fundraising contributions & support has truly paid off! Please remember to stay right and stay safe as temperatures will begin to drop even further this weekend!

Lastly, please always remember to yield to the groomer but don't forget to wave as they drive by!

The trails are officially OPEN, but conditions are variable. Please ride with extreme caution, watch for thin coverage, icy patches, and ongoing grooming operations. Respect the land, stay on marked trails especially on West River - please stay off the West River bike path!

Gates are open from Tim Hortons to water tower but have not yet been groomed. Use caution passing through that section.

Ride smart and stay right. Have fun out there!

Getting many inquires as to when trails will open
Unfortunately there are too many areas of insufficient snow coverage and waterholes
With the anticipated snowfall over the next couple days and colder temps we hope to be able to get things rolling
In the mean time TRAILS ARE CLOSED please stay off the trails until we are able to check for fallen trees and safe conditions
Just for comparison there no other clubs trails that are open in the Western NY area except as noted on the NY trails map https://nyssa.evtrails.com/ #
