🎒🌽 Hundreds of students are kicking off the Nebraska State Fair today with a day of hands-on learning at Raising Nebraska as part of Nebraska's Largest Classroom!

From food science and water conservation to beef, pork, dairy, soil, careers in agriculture and more, students will spend the day exploring Nebraska agriculture with organizations from across the state.

💵 There’s something new to explore at Raising Nebraska! 💰🌱

Our new Growing Your Future exhibit, created in partnership with National 4-H and Charles Schwab Foundation gives young people a hands-on way to explore saving, spending, needs vs. wants and other everyday money decisions.

The goal is bigger than learning about dollars and cents. These activities are designed to help youth build confidence, practice decision-making and develop healthy money habits that can serve them well into the future.

🌱 Backyard Farmer is back at Raising Nebraska!

One of Nebraska’s favorite traditions returns to the State Fair on Monday, August 31, as the crew from Backyard Farmer joins us for a live show taping inside Raising Nebraska.

Come early for a live Q&A with host Kim Todd and Nebraska Extension experts, where you can bring your lawn and garden questions and hear advice straight from the team. Then stick around and be part of the audience as an episode of Backyard Farmer is recorded live from the fair.
