Last night we had the pleasure of hosting the opening reception for the Upper Midwest Convention & Visitors Bureaus. They had an incredible turnout with great food and the coolest caricature artist for the conference goers!
A dessert auction benefiting the Grand Island Area Coalition on Trafficking ended a great kickoff reception.
Thanks to Grand Island Tourism for letting us show off all Raising Nebraska has to offer.

We’re excited to celebrate Lucy McWhirter as she steps into a new role with Raising Nebraska! 🌱

After serving as our Experience Coordinator, Lucy has been promoted to Director of Experiences, where she’ll continue helping shape the programs, events and hands-on experiences that connect visitors with Nebraska agriculture.

A University of Nebraska-Lincoln alum who participated in the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program, grew up in Nebraska 4-H and is a graduate of Nebraska LEAD Program Class 43, Lucy brings a deep connection to Nebraska agriculture and a passion for creating meaningful educational experiences.
