The Jazz Ensemble finished off the evening with two great performances that got everyone “In the Mood” to get up and dance. Congrats to Mr Reed and the GICSD’s entire team of instrumental music educators for helping our kids grow into such excellent young musicians!👏

Next up all the graduating seniors were called up to be honored, each given a red rose. The Wind Ensemble followed that by showing why they have built a reputation as one of the finest performing groups in the entire state! They played two outstanding numbers, including a really fun theatrical piece titled Godzilla Eats Las Vegas! So fun and so great!

Next up were two truly outstanding solos played by Natalie DeCourcey (flute) and Lily Buckingham (bassoon)! These young ladies were absolutely fabulous!

Carson Hinkle opened the evening with an excellent solo, followed by 3 great pieces performed by our Concert Band. Excellent start to the night!

Very proud of our HS Wind Ensemble today as they performed at our Town’s annual Memorial Day ceremony. They did an excellent job and the event would not be the same without them. Good thing the transportation costs of moving the equipment to and from the event were included in the current year’s school budget…🤔🇺🇸🎶💲

Get out and vote YES to approve the proposed 2026-2027 school budget. It’s a responsible budget that adequately funds our district’s music programs.
