Heartland CASA is a nonprofit organization which advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the court system. Based on the belief that children are entitled to a safe and permanent home, trained CASA Volunteers work in the court system in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel, and community resources to serve as the child's advocate and represent the child in

juvenile court. Heartland CASA intensively trains volunteers so they can enhance the quality of representation of children in court proceedings, as they advocate for safe, permanent homes.
