In September, ECHO Collective graduates proudly represented their businesses at the Center for Immigrant and Refugee Advancement's Welcome Fest in Omaha!

This event reflects a shared belief that communities grow stronger when neighbors know one another and feel connected to the place they live. Our entrepreneurs had the opportunity to connect with community members and contribute to the welcoming spirit that makes Nebraska such a special place to call home.

When you choose to shop locally and support small businesses, you not only strengthen the local economy, but also help nurture meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging. Thank you to everyone who continues to invest in and support our local entrepreneurs. ❤️

ECHO Collective is thrilled to be a partner organization of the COMPACT Cohort, a national pilot powered by Hello Neighbor Network and the Walmart Foundation. Over the 30 month program, we have been and will continue building deeper belonging in Lincoln through dedicated volunteer leadership and strengthening the ties between all our neighbors.

Alongside five other incredible nonprofits across the country, we’re working to strengthen our volunteer infrastructure and find new, meaningful ways to build belonging in Lincoln. Through this grant, our temporary consultant recently completed a project to support these efforts. The initiative has also allowed us to hire a dedicated full-time volunteer coordinator to grow our volunteer community and deepen the ties between all our neighbors.

We are honored to be part of this community working to reshape the landscape of volunteerism nationwide!

Thank you to everyone who attended our "Weaving Your Story" workshop at Francie & Finch Bookshop during Welcoming Week! 🧶

Our very own Refinery Graduate and Creative Programs Manager Cecilia Vargas, owner of Best Knit Co., showed attendees how to weave their own bookmarks, and symbolically weave their unique stories.

At ECHO, we believe every New American woman deserves to feel a sense of belonging and confidently call Lincoln home. This workshop beautifully embodied our mission and brought members of our community together through creativity and reflection.

Thank you for continuing to support ECHO Collective and the women we serve. ❤️
