Element Ministry Element Ministry is the youth group for Third City Christian Church that meets on Wed. nights from 7pm to 8pm. Insta/Twitter/Snapchat:

Element is Third City's Middle School & High School student ministry. We open the doors for Element on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm for fellowship and we ask that all students are picked up by 8:30 pm. Worship starts at 7:00 pm followed by small group discussion time. This is a great place to bring your friends and hear the Truth of Jesus Christ.

Looking for something fun to do with friends this summer? Join us for our next Element Outreach Night at Culver's!

⏰ 8:00–9:30 PM
📍 Culver's
2185 N Diers Ave
Grand Island, NE

This is a come-and-go event designed for students to connect, hang out, enjoy some custard, and invite friends who may not normally come to Element. No program. No pressure. Just conversation, community, and fun!

💵 Don't forget to bring money if you'd like to purchase ice cream, custard, or other treats!

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This is NOT a drop-off event.
Students who are unable to drive themselves must have a parent, guardian, or older sibling who drove them remain on-site during the event.

Bring a friend, grab some custard, and spend part of your evening with us. We can't wait to see you there!

Looking for a way to stay connected and grow in your faith this summer?

Join our Student Ministry Intern, Regan, for an interactive Summer Bible Study through the book of 1 John! This is for all students who have just completed 6th–12th grade.

📍 The Well (across from the Worship Center)
⏰ During the 10:15 AM service

This is a great opportunity to stay in community, dive into God's Word, and connect with other Element students throughout the summer.

SUMMER GATHER BIG IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY

Last night, 128 students gathered for our very first Summer Gather Big, and what a night it was. We worshiped together, laughed together, ate way too many snacks, and opened God's Word together.

One of the highlights of the night was hearing the message from one of our very own Elevate Student Leadership Team members, **Chloe Thielen**. We love seeing students step up and use their gifts to lead and impact other students.

Chloe challenged us with a simple but powerful question:

**What are you focusing on?**

The things we focus on determine the direction of our lives. Hebrews 12 reminds us to throw off the distractions, fix our eyes on Jesus, and keep running the race God has set before us.

Summer is full of opportunities, activities, sports, vacations, and distractions. But if we want to become who God created us to be, we have to intentionally keep our eyes on Him.

Please help us welcome Mak Ramirez to the Element Student Ministry team!

Mak joins us from CCV in Phoenix, Arizona, where he served in student ministry and multi-site ministry. He has a passion for helping students encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and find meaningful community.

Mak and his wife, Katie, are excited to become part of the Third City family, and we are thrilled to have them here in Grand Island.

Mak will be partnering closely with Christina and our student ministry team as we continue investing in the next generation through discipleship, camps, and life-changing relationships.

We can’t wait for you and your students to meet Mak and Katie! Please be praying for them as they transition into this new season.

This summer is going to be full of things competing for your attention—friends, sports, vacations, drama, social media, and a packed schedule.

But what if this summer looked different?

Join us for our very first Summer Gather Big as we kick off a summer focused on keeping our eyes on Jesus. Just like Peter, when we focus on Jesus, we walk strong. When we get distracted by everything around us, we begin to sink.

We packed the room with over 300 students as we celebrated our seniors, looked ahead to what summer at Element will look like, and kicked off our journey toward CIY MOVE & MIX by diving into the book of Ephesians.
