Part of our vision at Young Professionals of Color is to provide access to services and opportunities that may otherwise have financial barriers. In March, we offered professional headshots at a discounted rate so members could have a fresh look for their profiles and resumes. We would like to thank our sponsors, Raul Acros-Hawkins who covered the costs for some of our young professionals!

We owe a huge thank-you to Cassie Price Photography who was generous enough to provide these at an affordable price! She will even honor the prices throughout the rest of the year for members who missed this event.

In March, Vicki Pflasterer and Josie Young of NEWorks shared foolproof steps to job success! They assisted with resume-building, finding relevant job opportunities, and participating in trainings to round out skills. Our members left the meeting with an abundance of resources that will ensure career success not only for adults but even teenagers!
