Exchange is America's service club which sponsors activities designed to benefit, award and develop our nation’s youth, promote crime prevention, serve senior citizens and recognize military and public safety service providers. . Exchange is the country's oldest service organization operating exclusively in the United States. Exchange also promotes Americanism programs, and its national project is

the prevention of child abuse. The Grand Forks Exchange Club is just 1 of about 700 Exchange Clubs in the United States and Puerto Rico. The Grand Forks Exchange Club has 2 major events each year. In the winter, we work with Grand Forks Social Services to provide New winter clothing for children in need in the Grand Forks area. In the summer we host the Sunshine Special which is a picnic and boating adventure for migrant children in the Grand Forks area. The Grand Forks Exchange Club also funds After School Programming for local elementary schools serving over 1,000 children per year, and honors high school students who excel.
