🎶There’s something special about the JOY of music! 🎶🤠

At Valley, we find every way we can to share the joy of music together.

Each year we bring all 850+ of our care partners together for annual training and education sessions over a span of two weeks. This year we are kicking off each western themed session with line dancing and two-stepping!

And the best part? Our house band is made up of Valley residents and care partners making music together! These talented residents are empowered to share their gifts with the staff - what a joy!

💚🥎 One Last Visit Before the Season Ends! 🥎💚

It was a morning filled with board games like Yahtzee and Battle Ship, giggles, and plenty of smiles at Valley Senior Living on Columbia as the Grand Forks Spitfires stopped by to visit their host grandmas - The Sparks - one last time before the season comes to a close! 🥰

There were a few big hugs, lots of laughter and even a little pep talk before the girls headed off to tonight’s game. These softball players have become near and dear to the hearts of their host grandmas, and the feeling is certainly mutual! 💚

Now, the Sparks are headed to the ballpark on this beautiful Friday to enjoy some ballpark food, great softball and lots of cheering as they cheer on the girls they’ve come to know and love. 🌭🥎👏

What a special season of friendship, fun and memories! We’re so grateful for the Spitfires and the joy they’ve brought to our residents.

🎉🏌️‍♂️ GOLF BALL DROP WINNER! 🏌️‍♂️🎉

Congratulations to Jake Dinkel, the lucky winner of our Golf Ball Drop at the 21st Annual Valley Senior Living Foundation Golf Classic!

Jake was one of the golfers who joined us for this year's tournament, and his winning golf ball, #357, earned him an $4,000 prize! 💰⛳

One of the best days of the summer is HERE! It’s time for the 21st Annual Valley Senior Living Classic.

Each year, on the 3rd Thursday in July, some of our biggest supporters come out to celebrate all we do at Valley each day for over 500 residents! This year the proceeds will go to our Intergenerational Programming and the Greg V. Hanson scholarship program.

🎤🎼 Voices of Valley Variety Show: Thank You!

Earlier this week, Calvary Lutheran Church was filled with music and heartfelt moments during the Voices of Valley Variety Show, a special fundraiser benefiting Valley's Music Therapy Program.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, more than $14,000 was raised to support music therapy at all care communities.

Music therapy does so much more than entertain. It helps residents reconnect with memories, it can reduce anxiety, and it encourages communication and creates meaningful moments with family members. A familiar song can may spark a smile or inspire conversation in ways that words alone cannot.

This program is possible because of the generosity of donors who truly believe in enhancing the lives of our residents and often times have a passion for music and it's importance. Every gift helps ensure music continues to be heard and made at Valley!

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and performed. Your support is making a lasting difference.
