Help us serve local seniors by distributing and delivering food boxes on Friday, June 12th and Friday, June 19th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

We are currently seeking:
🍽️ Cooks
🧼 Dishwashers
👕 Sorters
📦 Organizers
🚐 Drivers with a valid driver’s license

Love in Action GF Family, WE NEED YOU💙

Our community is stepping up and lives are already changing.

The Ready4Work Initiative has officially launched, and men in our program are actively stepping into employment, stability, and purpose. But they can’t do it without the right essentials.

We are urgently in need of:
👕 Men’s Undergarments (new)
🧦 Socks (new)
🥾 Work Boots (steel toe & non-steel toe — new or gently used)

These aren’t just items, they are tools for dignity, confidence, and opportunity.

💛 Love in Action Starts Young 💛

What an incredible evening at HOPE Church as Crystal Barnett had the opportunity to speak with the children during PARK Night about what it truly means to live out Love in Action and to introduce them to the Executive Director of Love in Action GF, Everett Jones Sr.

From Kindergarten through 5th grade, these young hearts leaned in, asked thoughtful questions, and reminded us all of something powerful, you are never too young to make a difference.

Together, they talked about:

What Love in Action means
How to serve our community through food, clothing, and opportunity, as well as, how God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

But the most heartfelt moment of the evening came when the children themselves stepped forward and led in prayer, for Love in Action and for the people we serve. Hearing their voices lifted in compassion, faith, and sincerity was a powerful reminder that God is already at work in the next generation.

We are incredibly grateful to HOPE Church for creating space to pour into these young lives. Seeds were planted tonight; seeds of compassion, service, and bold faith in action.

Because the truth is…

💛 The same God who moves through ministries…
💛 Moves through moments…
💛 And moves through people, no matter their age.

And tonight, we saw that clearly.

Today, we were deeply blessed by the presence of the incredible staff and residents from Valley Senior Living – Tufte Manor. 💛

Thank you for choosing to spend your time, your energy, and your hearts here at Love in Action. Your willingness to serve speaks volumes, not just about what you do, but about who you are. The kindness, joy, and genuine care you brought into our space did not go unnoticed. It lifted spirits, strengthened community, and reminded us all of the beauty of coming together across generations to serve a greater purpose.

To each of you who showed up today: you made a difference. You brought light. And you are always welcome here.

This Thursday at 6 PM, we’re coming together for a fun, heartfelt Volunteer Appreciation Night filled with great food, great people, and even greater purpose.
