We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to a generous community member who turned their gift for couponing into a blessing by donating much-needed personal hygiene items for those we serve. 🧴🫶

These acts of kindness remind us that generosity comes in many forms, and every blessing makes a difference.

We’ll have breakfast, clothing, furniture, household goods, and unique finds available, and there are no set prices. Everything, including breakfast, is offered through free-will donations.

Give what you can. Take home what you love. Know that every contribution helps support the programs and mission of Love in Action.

Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness make the biggest difference!

Through our Birthday Bag Mission, these amazing young people came together to create more than just birthday gifts. They created moments of joy, hope, and love for individuals in our community who may otherwise go uncelebrated.

Each bag carries a powerful message:

What makes this especially meaningful is watching the next generation discover that you’re never too young to make a difference!

🚗❤️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: SENIOR FOOD BOX DELIVERIES! ❤️🚗

This Friday, October 9th, Love in Action needs volunteers to help deliver food boxes to senior neighbors throughout our community.

For some seniors, these deliveries are more than groceries—they’re reassurance that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

⏰ 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
📍 Meet at Love in Action, 818 University Ave., Grand Forks

Volunteers must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

If you can give a few hours of your morning, you can help make sure a senior neighbor has food on the table.

🍿 Popcorn & Positivity Tuesday 💛

Sometimes hope shows up in the simplest answers.

Today we asked, “What is something that made you smile lately?”

The answers on our wall said everything:
Friends. Family. Recovery. Freedom. Laughter. Helping others. Waking up. Being at Love in Action.

These little notes are more than pieces of paper. They are reminders that even when life is difficult, there is still something worth holding onto—and sometimes we just need someone to help us notice it.

At Love in Action, we want to create a space where people aren’t simply receiving services. They are seen. They belong. They have a place to laugh, heal, reconnect, encourage one another, and rediscover hope.

And today, we did it over a bag of popcorn. 🍿❤️
