Congratulations to the team at Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks & Region for raising the funds necessary to bring Imagination Library back to Grand Forks!

GFCLT was pleased to make an initial donation to the program and an ongoing commitment to sponsor a year of books for every child who lives in a GFCLT home.

We encourage our homeowners with young children to sign up for Imagination Library on July 1!

🎉 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 🎉 We’re thrilled to announce that Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is coming to Grand Forks County beginning July 1!

Because of the incredible generosity of our community, we reached our fundraising goal to launch this program locally. Soon, children from birth to age five in Grand Forks County can enroll to receive a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲, 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, regardless of family income.

This week, GFCLT made a meaningful commitment to the future of Grand Forks families.

We pledged to sponsor a full year of books for every child living in a GFCLT home — because stable housing and youth literacy are two of the strongest predictors of lifelong health, opportunity, and well‑being.

In addition to our ongoing donation at each home sale, we also made a special one‑time gift honoring the 25 children who have grown up in GFCLT homes to date.

We’re thrilled to help Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks & Region bring Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to Grand Forks and excited to watch the long‑term impact this program will have on the children and families we serve.

WHAT A WEEK! 🎉

One of the most uniquely impactful aspects of GFCLT is our incredible partnerships with Minot Area Community Land Trust and North Star Neighbors.

Thanks to these partnerships, we’re able to help make homeownership affordable not only in Grand Forks County, but also in Ward County ND and across a 14,000 square mile region in NW MN.

Over the last week, GFCLT helped make a huge impact for these 3 organizations with:

📄 4 Purchase Agreements signed for home sales to CLT Buyers, bringing our total to 6 homes currently under contract, PLUS

🏡 1 Home Sale in Grand Forks, AND

🏠 🏠 2 homes in purchase agreement to be acquired by GFCLT in May.

That’s 9 homes, with a market value of $2.5 million, made affordable through community land trusts in our region.

We would have been thrilled accomplishing this in a year not long ago. Thanks to incredible partnerships, amazing homeowners/homebuyers, and broad community support, we have all of this happening in the same week.
