Last night, the Habitat Girls: Marisa and Elizabeth had the honor of presenting at Grand Forks Builders & Traders Exchange's monthly meeting. Guests learned about how Habitat for Humanity operates, our affiliate, homeownership, homeowner stories, upcoming events, ways to get involved, our new programs and more! Huge thank you to Forks Lath and Plaster, Inc. for their generous donation. We truly appreciate the support and look forward to a continued partnership with this incredible organization and local area businesses. Thank you to Lance for welcoming us. We look forward to having our paths cross again.

Special Thanks Alert!!

Many, many thanks to Jared & Erin out at Obabikon Bay Camp for providing dinner, shelter and breakfast for a couple of guests that were caught in a difficult situation last night. With the wind gusting close to 40 MPH from the west, navigating high seas was not a good idea and they pulled into the docks at Obabikon to seek refuge. They had actually been long time guests out there in their younger days and knew Jared's parents quite well.

Not only did they take great care of our stranded guests without a second thought, Jared & Erin refused even a nickel of payment for their hospitality. Only after our guests insisted on paying something did they tell them they could leave some money, if they must, and it would go into the staff tip pool.

We have a fantastic group of owners/operators in the Morson area and this is just one shining example of that fact. I'm confident a similar scenario would play out at any of our great resorts in Morson and area.

Thank you Amasons and Team Obabikon! Ya'll are Rock Stars!!

Anyone looking for a top notch resort serving great meals should have Obabikon on their list.

Our guests called to say they are doing great and heading back out fishing for the day.
