Dakota has a rough background, but is a very sweet boy with big feelings. He needs a home with someone who is willing to help him learn to be a dog. He started in our program and really struggled with the kennel life, so he has been fostering with one of our trainers and has done pretty well, but still has a ways to go. We do SO much more than what it seems. A WW2 POW whose remains came home had a Nephew named after him we wanted to recognize. John Irvin was given a vest and some pins to proudly wear.
His Pastor told one of our members he would probably not take it off. As he is seen here with Scott Hennen.

The remains of U.S. Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. Irvin C. Ellingson of Dahlen, North Dakota, were identified through advanced DNA technology and his extended family's dogged determination.
