Former UPN staff members once again stepping up with the goal to do their best in service to our community! Bri's care for sharing the stories of our neighborhood, incorporating more family-friendly events into our annual programming, and assistance fundraising so that core programs (like Bringing Generations Together, our home repair fund, and our critical sidewalk repair assistance fund) ran smoothly and reached as many neighbors as possible for the greatest impact we could provide in 2025. We're looking forward to see what she'll do next.

A local parent and project manager at the University of North Dakota’s College of Education and Human Development is running for the Grand Forks School Board.

Ice Melt Distribution and End of Year Celebration

Join us next Saturday to finish out 2025 strong with your neighbors! We’ll have cookie decorating supplies, board games, and hot cocoa for all ages.

Need pet-safe ice melt for the winter season? Pick some up at the event—please bring your own container. A limited number of pre-portioned buckets will be available. One distribution per household while supplies last.

Stop by community partner tables featuring organizations like the North Dakota Human Rights Coalition, Red River Valley Democratic Socialists of America, Live Well Grand Cities, Chatty Learners, and High Plains Fair Housing Center.

Craving soup for dinner? Us, too!
University Park Neighborhoods and the Near North Neighborhood Association are jointly inviting you to come enjoy a bowl of soup, play board games, and meet your neighbors from 6-7:30 pm on Thursday, November 20th at Augustana on University Ave (520 University Avenue).

Whether you want to meet your neighbors, enjoy some soup, or completely crush your friends, family, or neighbors in a round of cards or board games, this is the place to be!

Individuals as well as families and children are encouraged to come -- anyone with a particular accessibility concern is welcome to get in touch with us to make a plan for safe entrance and enjoyment of this event.

Join UPN and NNN volunteers for a fun-filled evening of games at UPN/NNN Monthly Game Night! All are welcome. We are so excited to bring back this monthly tradition and partner with the Near North Neighborhood at their usual headquarters for our shared monthly game night series. ❤
