Unfortunately, he finds himself surrounded by chaos, including his caffeine-addicted wife, a relationship guru, and an axe murderer. The play features a cast of quirky characters, including a shy retiree and a feisty sister, all contributing to the comedic and chaotic narrative.

Comic fireworks explode in Farce of Habit, an absurdly funny Southern-fried romp that takes us back to the Reel 'Em Inn, the finest little fishing lodge in the Ozarks. While D. Gene is looking forward to a peaceful weekend of fishing, the family is creating panic and grief. Who has died that threatens Ty and Jenna's marriage, and why is Ty dressed like that? Why on earth is D. Gene's feisty sister squeezed into that leather outfit? Add in a shy retiree anxious to cut loose and embrace his "inner caveman," along with a couple of wild women who may or may not be who they claim to be, and you have the makings for a wild weekend retreat! Join us at BackAlley Community Theatre in Grand Cane for our Southern-fried romp in the finest little fishing lodge in the Ozarks.
