We want to make sure everyone has a positive trash experience, so this we’re passing along a few reminders to ensure your garbage gets collected without a hitch:
👉 Trash
Loose trash is prohibited; all trash must be bagged in garbage bags inside your bin. If your trash is bagged in grocery bags or loose in your bin, your trash will not be collected.
👉Recycle
Recycled items should be loose in your recycling bin. Emterra can refuse to collect your recycling if you have unaccepted items in your bin, so please review the accepted and unaccepted items on our website, bit.ly/gbttrash2025. Pizza boxes are no longer accepted in recycling!
👉Compost
Yard waste should either be in brown yard waste bags or in a plastic container clearly marked with an X or with a yard waste sticker, which can be picked up from our office, free of charge. Dirt, mulch, wood chips, tree stumps, and animal waste are not accepted.
👉Overflow Items
Each week, you may place one additional large item curbside to be taken away. Building materials and sleeper sofas are not accepted.
🚨Collection Information
Please place all items curbside, in plain view, before 7:00 a.m. on collection day. If your trash wasn’t picked up on collection day, we recommend leaving your items curbside overnight and calling our office on Thursday morning (we open at 8:00 a.m.) at 810-424-2600 ext. 2906. We will work with Emterra to investigate the reason for the missed pickup.

Hi! Does anyone in our neighborhood have a college-aged son with blonde hair who goes to U of M and plays basketball, and drives a black or dark colored SUV type vehicle, who helped a lady named Caroline Jensen last winter? Ms. Jensen is an elderly neighbor who lives on Wakefield Rd. This lady has been going door-to-door in our sub (which is not easy for her). She would like to thank him, please give her a call!

Hello neighbors,

My name is Lilian Titus, and I’ll be 18in October. I am also a resident of the neighborhood. I’m currently looking for babysitting opportunities in our subdivision and would love the chance to help care for your children!

I have a wide range of babysitting experience with kids of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I’m comfortable managing multiple children at once, and I always strive to create a safe, engaging, and fun environment. Whether you need occasional help for date nights, errands, or more regular care, I’d be happy to connect and see how I can support your family.

References are available upon request, I’d be glad to share them!

Please feel free to reach out if you’re interested or have any questions. I look forward to meeting more of our wonderful neighbors! 810-399-7414
