God is in the little.
God is in the tiny details and the quiet voices.
We so misunderstand or devalue humility that we can’t hear Him.
Because we won’t love the tiny, the seeming unimportant, we simply can’t imagine a God who will stop the universe and sit with us.
Father, help us be humble. Not so that we can put ourselves down, but that we might lift up the forgotten, the tiny, the weak and insignificant.

Holy Spirit Lutheran Church (7234 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc) will host its next free food distribution on Saturday, September 16, beginning at 9 AM. Volunteers are always welcome and encouraged to arrive at 8 AM to help with set up. 

The food is provided on a first-come, first served basis, and we usually have enough for the first 200 households. If you have questions, contact the church office at 810-424-6707.

Recently, the State of Michigan implemented the Michigan Meals Program for the 2023-24 school year. The program allows schools, including Grand Blanc Community Schools, to provide free breakfast and lunch to students while they're in school. On Saturday, July 15, one of our member organizations, Holy Spirit Lutheran Church (7234 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc) will be offering free food to those in need on a first come-first served basis beginning at 9:00am.

Volunteers from the community are invited to come at 8:00am to help set up and distribute the food (HSLC will feed you lunch at the end of the distribution). Holy Spirit offers these distributions on the third Saturday of each month through October 21,2023. If you have questions, you can call the church office at 810-424-6707.
