Kids grow fast, but your outgrown winter gear can warm another child this season. Gently used coats, boots, gloves, and hats all make a meaningful difference.

To help Mountain Family Center meet its warm clothing needs, Wheatley Creek Services, MCR Plumbing, and Queen Bee's Laundry Services LLC are running a winter clothing drive through October 31, 2026. If you have items to donate, you may drop them off at the following locations:

📍 Team Wheatley Creek: 81 E Topaz, Granby

Are you looking for a way to help out Mountain Family Center? Main Street Thrift in Granby is looking for volunteers to take down clothing bags to Goodwill on the Front Range. This is also a great way to fulfill community service hours - each trip counts as four hours!

Our thrift is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday 👗👚

This year, Mountain Family Center is relying primarily on donated children's coats and boots to help make sure local kids have what they need before the cold really sets in. Gently used items in good condition make a real difference and help families access what they need with dignity.

A few items they could use most:
- Children's winter coats in all sizes
- Children's now boots and warm footwear
- Children's gloves, hats, and scarves

Middle Park High School student and girl scout Hannah Gould put all her delicious recipes in one place, to share with our clients at the Mountain Family Center food pantries!

Hannah worked on her Pantry to Plate cookbook for several months to share it with Mountain Family Center. We distributed them at the Granby and Kremmling pantries, as well as measuring cups which had a QR code for people to download the cookbook 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

The cook book is accessible since all the recipes include simple ingredients or items that can be found at food pantries.

Thank you Hannah for your hard work putting this together for community members to make meals at home after they visit the food pantry 🥘

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is here, and support is closer to home than you might think.

Through our partnership with Taking Steps for Cancer, Mountain Family Center helps cover treatment-related costs for families in Grand County facing a cancer diagnosis. No one should have to navigate this alone, and financial support can make an already difficult season a little more manageable.
