Mountain Family Center's Grand Seniors department wrapped up our Senior Listening Sessions this May. We heard from seniors throughout the county, from Kremmling to Grand Lake. These sessions helped inspire and inform our team as we learned what visions residents have for senior services.

We are currently working on a Senior Resource Booklet for Grand County, to help our community navigate the services and organizations currently offered. We'd also like to extend our gratitude to our partners at the listening sessions: Vintage: Services For Aging Well in Colorado and the Grand County Library District!

Grand Seniors will be closed in honor of Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Mountain Family Center's offices, food pantries, Grand Seniors and Main Street Thrift will be closed for Memorial Day, as we honor our soldiers and veterans. We hope everyone is able to enjoy the holiday, and we will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.

Thank you to everyone who attended our first Senior Listening Session at the Fraser Valley Library earlier this week, to share your input on senior services in Grand County. Today, May 20, we will hold our second session at the Kremmling Library from 10 a.m.-noon. Light refreshments will be provided.

Would you like to help make Grand County a wonderful place to age? Grand Seniors wants to hear from community members during upcoming listening sessions. These sessions will be held throughout Grand County this May. Residents of all ages (not just seniors) have a chance to discuss what services are needed to help the elder community thrive.

SESSION DATES
Monday, May 18: 10 a.m.-noon at Fraser Valley Library
Wednesday, May 20: 10 a.m.-noon at Kremmling Library
Thursday, May 21: 10 a.m.-noon at Granby Library
Friday, May 22: 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Grand Lake Community House

RSVP is required only for the Grand Lake session, during the Grand County Library District’s Lunch & Learn. Visit GCLD.LibraryCalendar.com to RSVP.
