🌟 What are The Mines on Main? And how can YOU help grow Granby? 🌟

The Mines on Main is more than just a construction project - it’s a dream to breathe life back into a once vacant and hazardous lot in downtown Granby, MO. Through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit Grow Granby, we’re transforming this space into something our community can be proud of: 7 small business buildings crafted from shipping containers, designed to look like and honor our town's rich mining history.

Thanks to generous donations, we’ve already:
✅ Purchased the land
✅ Poured concrete to safely encapsulate hazardous materials (in partnership with the DNR)
✅ Purchased shipping containers
✅ Renovated the building fronts
✅ Installed a storm water retention system

Now, we’re at the most exciting stage: finishing the insides of the buildings with electricity, heating & air, insulation, drywall, and internet service, so local entrepreneurs can finally bring their businesses to life.

💰 Where donations have gone so far:
Concrete - $57,000
Shipping Containers - $25,200
Storm Water Retention - $22,500

Every dollar brings us closer to opening these doors and giving Granby a vibrant new hub for small businesses, jobs, and community connection.

✨EXCITING NEWS✨ the “Lux Lot” project officially has a name!

- THE MINES ON MAIN -

We’ve made great strides on this project and decided we finally needed to give our project its own identity aside from The Lux Lot. Behold, The Mines on Main was born! We wanted to stay true to Granby’s rich mining history, but with a modern twist. Every container will be named after an old Granby mine - do YOU remember any of the names? Leave a comment!

It’s no secret that as a non-profit, we graciously rely on donations and grants to help accomplish and complete our projects. If you’d like to contribute to the project, we’ve created a GoFundMe to easily and securely give - every $1 counts and 100% of every donation goes towards the project. ❤️

Yes, The Foundry is a thrift store, but one with a purpose.

All profits go toward the economic development of Granby, Grow Granby . Everything in the store, including the fixtures, was donated. We do our best to keep our prices low. Most items are priced $5 or less.
