We’re so grateful for our generous community!

A quick favor: please don’t leave donations on our porch after hours. We want to look over each item with you so we can make sure it’s something we have room for and can put to good use.

Here’s a list of the donations we can accept:

✅ Accepted: wheelchairs, walkers, knee scooters, diapers (adult or baby), hygiene wipes, braces, and nebulizers (with new attachments in original packaging)
📞 Call first: bedside toilets, shower chairs, crutches, canes, and similar items. We often have plenty of these!
🚫 Not accepted: oxygen, CPAP machines, medication, hospital beds, and a few others listed in the graphic

All items should be clean and in working condition. Questions? Give us a call at (817) 573-6800 before you drop off.

Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Connie!

Connie spent her career in EMS. After retiring, she found a new way to serve: volunteering at Ken Hill Health Center, because she believes everyone deserves access to healthcare.

For the past year, Connie has helped check in patients with a warm welcome, and she’s always ready to jump in wherever she’s needed, from organizing the storage closet to putting away supplies. No task is too big or too small for Connie!

Take a Coat, Leave a Coat is back!

As the weather cools down, our porch coat rack is open again. If you have new or gently used coats, hang them on the rack at Ken Hill Health Center for our patients and neighbors to take as needed. And if you need a coat, please take one. That's what it's there for!

Have other winter clothes to give? Mission Granbury is accepting those donations too.

Yesterday, Kristin had the privilege of speaking to the Forward Training Center of Hood County students alongside other nonprofits from our community! Students learned about the work each organization does and how we all support one another to make Hood County a better place.

Thank you to Mission Granbury, Goodwill North Central Texas, and Granbury Housing Authority for sharing the room with us. We’re so proud to work alongside such wonderful organizations!
