GFWC NDS ADDS 52 NEW REGISTRANTS FOR THE WEEK

GFWC is pleased to welcome 52 new registrants to its GFWC National Day of Service (NDS) participation count. For the week ending August 1, 2024, 52 clubs pledged their participation, bringing the grand total to 487.
With eight weeks left until this year’s GFWC NDS on Saturday, September 28, we still have a ways to go to reach our ambitious goal of 1,800 participating clubs. The challenge for this week to increase participation numbers is to think of creative, fun ways to encourage clubs in your states, districts, or regions to participate. Are there local businesses that your club can partner with for a greater impact? Or, are you planning to use NDS as an opportunity for membership recruitment by inviting prospective members to participate and learn firsthand about the important work GFWC does in communities?
Our collective goal is to use this annual day to increase public awareness on an important social issue GFWC supports and showcase our prowess to serve the greater good in our communities. Drive the message home that “together we can end food insecurity and hunger!”

To register, visit https://memberportal.gfwc.org/, and follow the prompts. Then, click on the Events page to sign up. Simply select 2024 GFWC National Day of Service and you’re on your way.
If more than one club is partnering on a CSP, you can register up to three clubs on the site. However, you will need to email Membership Director Melanie Gisler, [email protected], the additional club names for your group.
