Yesterday, the Granbury Lions were honored to welcome Dusti Scovel and Jean Freitag Bondy from Mission Granbury to our meeting. It’s heartwarming to know Granbury is home to so many organizations dedicated to supporting both residents and non-residents. Mission Granbury has 9 programs to support the community with various needs and offer them with empathy and support.

A big thank you to everyone at Mission Granbury for putting love, time, and energy into your incredible mission, helping make Granbury a better place.

If you’d like to contribute, there are many ways to get involved: donating food to Pantry of Plenty, shopping or donating to New Beginnings Resale Shop, or making a monetary donation. ALL proceeds go directly back into our community.

🦁 Lions Club is more than just pancake breakfasts, glasses, and scholarships. While that’s how we serve locally, there’s much more happening on an international scale.

Yesterday’s meeting was fun and productive!
There are some fun events we get to be a part of this spring, getting plans in place for 2024 flag routes, and something fun for the fall!

Meetings are EVERY 1st and 3rd Tuesday, 12pm at Soring Creek Barbecue. If you are looking for a way to give back to your community reach out or visit one of our meetings!!

🦁 Become a Lion Today: Help Us Grow as We Continue to Make Positive Impact in Granbury and surrounding Area.

Granbury Lions Club members SERVE our community in many ways. We are most noticed for our Flag 🇺🇸 routes to honor Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day. 🚶🚶🏿‍♀️🇺🇸

Flag routes are our biggest fundraiser and as a nonprofit our efforts are done by our members and wonderful volunteers. Our club is seeking new members or volunteers to help this fundraising effort to grow! We each hand place flags and drill holes for flag poles as needed for our donors.

Curious how this money helps the community?

👓 It gives Children from Low Income families the opportunity to receive free vision screenings plus eye glasses.

🐕 Provides dog training for visually impaired people

🏕️ ♿️ Sends 1 special needs kid to camp per year (this could be more with fundraising growth).

💰🧑‍🎓 We give scholarships to local high school graduates to attend college.
