π WEEK 3 SUMMER WORKOUT CHALLENGE
β‘ SPEED & AGILITY WEEK β‘
Football season is getting closer every day, and the work our athletes put in now will help them show up ready for that first official practice!
Week 3 is all about developing quick feet, faster reactions, better balance, and explosive movement. Speed and agility can make the difference between making a play and missing one!
As the Texas temperatures continue to rise, hydration becomes even more important. π§βοΈ
Parents, please encourage your athletes to:
β
Drink water throughout the day
β
Bring water with them when they play outside
β
Take breaks when needed
β
Refill fluids after workouts and outdoor activities
Remember, if your athlete is sweating, they need to be replacing those fluids consistently. Proper hydration helps prevent fatigue, cramping, and overheating.
No equipment? No problem!
β No agility ladder?
β
Use sidewalk chalk, tape, sticks, or draw boxes in the grass.
β No cones?
β
Use water bottles, shoes, toys, towels, or rocks as markers.
This weekβs goal:
π Move 30-45 minutes each day
β‘ Work on speed and agility
π§ Drink plenty of water
π₯ Eat healthy foods that fuel performance
π΄ Get good sleep and recovery
π Practice football skills
The athletes who stay active this summer will be better prepared when football season arrives. Small amounts of work every day add up to big results!
