🌹It is with great pride that we recognize our next graduate, Fall ‘24 initiate, Brianna Singleton! 🌹

Brianna has crossed the stage, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a testament to her dedication, perseverance, and excellence. As a cherished Rose of Eta Zeta, she has also shined as a committed member of The Order of Beauties, Inc. and as a distinguished scholar of the Earl Lester Cole Honors College.

Brianna’s achievements reflect not only her hard work but also her inspiring commitment to leadership, scholarship, and service. We celebrate her today and the bright future that lies ahead! Congratulations graduate!🌹🎓

With just a few days left before graduation, we are proud to recognize our next graduate, Fall ’24 initiate, Kennedy Wagner.🌹

Kennedy will be graduating with her degree in General Studies, with a minor in Child Development. Throughout her time on campus, she has been an active and dedicated member of the Texas Club, Open Space Mental Health Organization, Grambassadors, Women Empowerment, and Aspiring Educators. Her involvement reflects her commitment to service, leadership, and creating supportive spaces for others.

🌹As this semester comes to a close, the Eta Zeta Chapter would like to recognize and congratulate our Fall ‘25 graduates🌹

Keriston Williams, a native of Shreveport, LA, will be crossing the stage with her Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts. She is a Fall ‘24 initiate of the Eta Zeta Chapter and has been a dedicated member of the Orchesis Dance Company from 2022–2025. She also showcased her creativity and leadership through her involvement in Fashion Club from 2021–2023.

Keriston, we are proud of your accomplishments and the strength and passion you have carried throughout your collegiate journey. Your artistry embodies the true spirit of excellence. As you enter this next chapter, we know you will continue to shine! Congratulations, and best wishes on all that awaits you! 🎓✨

The Roses of the Eta Zeta chapter would like to thank everyone who came out to participate in ‘Stretch it Out, Don’t Stress it Out.’ We had such an enjoyable time leading stress-relieving stretches. We would also like to thank our dance family over at .xte for hosting a wonderfully engaging event and inviting us to collaborate! We look forward to seeing you all at future events!🌹

The Eta Zeta Chapter proudly joined the NAACP for a stadium clean-up following another exciting Grambling victory! 🏈💛🖤 Our roses were up and ready at 6:45 a.m., showing true service, dedication, and school spirit. We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and show pride through beautifying our campus!🌟

MaKaylah Turner, Miss Sigma Alpha Iota 2025-2026 is a senior, Psychology and Criminal Justice double major hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana! She also serves as our chapter’s secretary and Social Media Chair, as well as secretary for the Pre-Law society, and a member of the GSU choir. MaKaylah serves with grace, resilience, artistry and leadership, truly embodying the title of Miss Sigma Alpha Iota.

Each of you represented with beauty, poise, and the spirit of sisterhood. Congratulations, Queens! ❤️

Here’s more from our recent journey to the Sigma Alpha Iota National Convention! Before heading home, we had the honor of giving back to the Minneapolis community.

Our delegates visited Nicollet Towers, where we partnered with Volunteers of America to donate food items to local residents. It was a meaningful experience to serve alongside such a dedicated organization, and we’re truly grateful for the opportunity.

We look forward to continuing this spirit of service through future collaborations with Volunteers of America!

Recently, delegates from the Eta Zeta Chapter—including Chapter President Jhaiya Davis and Treasurer Lillian Nelson—traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota to represent our chapter at Sigma Alpha Iota’s 51st National Convention! 🌹

Surrounded by sisters from across the country, we had an unforgettable experience celebrating our shared love for music and sisterhood. One of the most touching moments was honoring our beloved and newly retired Executive Director, Ruth Sieber Johnson, with a heartfelt token of appreciation for her remarkable 32 years of service to our organization.
