Wow!
We say thank you to our church leadership and members for the thoughtful gifts and recognition yesterday! You know us very well to gift Chris with Legos and banana pudding flavored oreos and myself with individually wrapped tulip bulbs w/an attached bible verse!

October is Pastor appreciation month 🙌! Speaking as a wife of a Pastor, I am incredibly grateful for all the kind words towards my husband! Pastoral responsibility in addition to marriage, family and a full time job keeps a person's schedule packed and in special need of appropriate boundaries to be successful and balanced. Personal time with the Lord is the foundation on which all these things rest upon.
I feel blessed beyond abundance in my personal relationship with my husband, Chris Allen. He is my best friend, the one I count on, the one I cry with, laugh with, and share my life's burdens and joys with. And I'm so thankful to our church the Lord called us to start, the Valley Baptist Church of Grain Valley for all your love, support, encouragement, help, time, commitment and faithfulness to build this church!
