I’ve been super slacking on posts and community fundraisers and there’s numerous reasons…including the relapse last spring, the exhaustion that came with it, then a bone marrow transplant, and more exhaustion.

There’s days where I’m going all out with full brain functions and more days where I’m okay, but the braining isn’t braining and it exhausts me.

With that said…. APRIL 24th, at Mebane Dogwood Festival is the FIRST fundraiser of the year!

There will be cancer awareness items for sale, orders can be placed for matching Foundation t-shirts, a spin the wheel for prizes (donations of $20 and more get spins).

ALSO, if you donate $100 or more, you will get a coupon to use for land grading with Carolina United Grading LLC or Furstie Tree & Stump.

can also, the FIRST PERSON with a $75 donation, gets an AUTHENTIC autographed jersey from former basketball player David Bing! It’s his jersey and is in a shadow box all ready to display in your sports cave! It’s worth over $200! 🏀

As I create more community fundraisers, with local businesses like East Coast Wings + Grill and Red Robin, I will post them as well.

Bone marrow transplants are crazy!

But, I’ve been home, in my own house, with my husband and puppies for 3 whole days. Its been GLORIOUS ❤️

Today is day 66. So far so good and feeling good. Still have until day 100 (Feb 20th) to be further out of the early “woods”. Can’t start getting all my childhood immunizations, again, until May 12th.

Keep an eye out for events we will be at, ways to help by donating to the Foundation, and see updates on gifting days!

Today is day +17. NOW my hair is starting to fall out. They kept telling me it would, but I thought I was lucky and it wouldn’t. Nope, totally about to be bald again.

Day +15 was Thanksgiving Day….and I was DISCHARGED! 🎉
…to the SECU house because it’s closer than home is to the hospital.

Day +12 and I begin booster shots to increase my WBC. Feeling good too!
