Pups & Pals 4-H

Pups & Pals 4-H We are Pups & Pals! Dedicated to "Make the Best Better" & to "Creating Friendships that Last" Our club goes one further. We even have a student-exchange program!

As its mission statement says, 4-H believes in "Making the Best Better." We want our kids to challenge themselves in doing the best they can at whatever they set themselves to do. Our motto is, "Creating friendships that last." We encourage the kids to consider their club their "4-H Family." We want the kids to foster relationships with each other & their dogs that will last life-times. Many of ou

r alumni are still friends with each other & have mentored the younger students. We are primarily a "Dog Project" however, we are starting to branch out into other projects; it all depends on the interest of the kids & volunteers. Our club currently has a project in photography, crochet & knitting, sewing, & public presentations. All of these projects are led by student mentors & parent volunteers.
4-H has opportunities in robotics, veterinary science, diet & nutrition, astronomy, archery, gardening, economics, entomology, music, dance, government & diplomacy. The projects are endless! Our club meets at Paws-Abilities on Sundays at 6:30 pm.These meetings are during the fall & winter months of October through March. As the weather turns better, we meet at South Hill Community Park in South Hill (usually starting in Spring) during April through September. There is a one-time annual membership fee of $20 payable to Pups & Pals and a $5 monthly "rent" fee paid to Paw-Abilities.
