Our Story

North87South is an organization working towards community harmony through music and fellowship. We will be hosting a variety of events regularly. In addition, the building is available to rent for fund raisers, private parties, band practices, group meetings, and more.

The first week of November we hold a food drive for the benefit of S.A.F.E (Southern Alamance Family Enrichment food bank) and CORA (Chatham Out Reach Alliance, Inc., food bank). The contributions have grown yearly, with 2017 providing approximately 700 pounds of food total.

The room at N87S is sound engineered and there is a full house sound system. Bands play for donations, and the community is extremely generous. Our intent is to keep the music flowing. A $5 door is collected at the music events, which goes towards expenses, and scholarship money to local high school bands. So far we have donated to Southern High, Graham; Hawbridge School, Saxapahaw; Northwood High, Pittsboro, and Jordan Mathews, Siler City. In 2017 we donated over $2500 to these bands, and other recipients.
