****Update on tomorrows walkout****

For tomorrows Justice for Josiah DISTRICT WIDE WALKOUT all who can participate that aren’t in the district or not at their home school tomorrow please gather at Frontier Middle school in Graham. If they do not let the students out to participate we will protest and do our best to ensure Justice for Josiah happens.

Graham Kapowsin high school is taking about going into modified lockdown if anything happens at Frontier tomorrow. Depending on how big this is Komo and King 5 may be there. I’ve been in contact with both.

The schools are calling this a parent protest and are talking about lockdown at both. Whether it’s a parent protest or walkout we appreciate your support.

The student's mother said she had previously complained about her son being bullied to administrators but her concerns were not addressed.

Edit: The walkout has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 28th at 11:00AM due to school conferences.

Update: we may have to pick a different day and time for the walkout. I was unaware that this next week is conference week. I’ll get with Mama and Josiah and let everyone know.

Update on Josiah from his Brother Dylan:

“Josiah just woke up from surgery with no complications. We should be taking him home soon. I organized a gofundme for my mother and grandmother while in the waiting room and I do hope we can get that shared as well. Their house flooded and are dealing with those costs as well as medical costs and they both have had to miss a significant amount of work the last two weeks to take care of Josiah. They are very stressed financially due to this. I’m not sure how much an attorney will cost just yet, but I set the gofundme goal to $5,000 just to help with post-operative costs and living expenses.”

Parents, friends, teachers, all people who were there for us for we need your help to do the same for Josiah and his family. Almost two weeks ago Josiah's Mom sent him to school at Frontier Middle School in Graham Washington, only to have her precious high functioning autistic Son severly beaten by his bully. He was beaten so badly he needs to have reconstructive surgery on his face. This bullying in the Graham Kapowsin school district and districts across the state has gone on far too long with little being done about it. This isn't the first time this has happened that Monique Jolly and Josiah have been failed, nor the first time he has been bullied. Tomorrow he will have major reconstructive surgery on his face. The words below are from his Mom, who is also tagged in this post. Please keep Josiah and his family in your prayers tomorrow and share this in support of his recovery. I have permission from Mama to share her words. Although there isn't a video this time around you can see the damage, which he will carry with him for a lifetime. Not only due to the trauma but the actual physical damage. Something HAS got to be done. Keep an eye out for an invite to a stop Bethel bullying page.
We are asking for two things at this time. Share this, share it and demand Justice for Josiah and justice for our kids. It's time our legislators, the school district, the Graham Kapowsin board and schools take this seriously. There are multiple policies, procedures and even laws they do not abide by. They are failing our children.
As parents, we ask for one thing and that is a safe place for our children to learn. When we hand over our precious children for the day they should NOT come home with physical and mental scars for life. Bring in the bystander was a joke.
As parents we need to demand change. I will fight for this boy if I have to stand with his family and do it alone. Please join us.

The first picture is the same day, the subsequent photos are while healing and results of Josiah's scans and medical records along with an attachment with mommas original post on one of our neighborhood groups.
Below are his Mother's words.
"For those who don't know Josiah has high functioning autism and has had problems with bullies at his school from the beginning. Ive been there multiple times.I've not wanted to share this but almost 2 weeks ago Josiah was physically assaulted at school by his bully. He was punched so hard in the face he will have to have emergency reconstructive surgery on his nose and eye orbit tomorrow at 7:30 am, at the major trauma hospital in Seattle. I didnt know the prognosis or full scope of the injury until we seen the cranial facial surgeon today for a consultation. I didnt want to share until I had more answers. Please pray for him. He's scared. I'm attaching photos in the comments so if you dont want to see dont look. I just know it sounds bad and it is, but his face is already healing and thats why the emergency surgery. We want everything to heal properly. Im also really struggling so please pray for me also."

We want to use our voices and this platform to empower change. A friend that is near and dear to me (our friendship came out of the attack on Landon) lost his life last weekend.

I am hoping this cause can create, affect or change legislation around cyber bullying, who is held accountable for the loss of our babies lives, preventing it from a young age and hopefully stopping bullying in all forms.

At this time, I don't know what the right answer is as I am grieving for my friend and her family and the loss of her sweet baby. Max was 18 years old and pulled from public school in the Bethel School District only to continue to be bullied online through the Discord App. I hadn't heard of this app before and have checked Landon's electronic devices to ensure he does not have it and his privacy settings are still setup accurately on Instagram, and on his phone.

I don't know how we go about getting Max and other children like him justice. I don't know how we go about changing these laws and this issue. When I posted Landon's story I hoped we could change the mind of just one bully and cause them to think about their actions and hopefully change them. After I've had some time to research and brainstorm I hope to get the ball rolling on this, figure out what we need to do and get a Max Hansen's law in front of our legislation.

My call to action at this time are twofold. One is to ask that you please share Max's go fund me. This will allow his family a little more time at home to grieve their baby and plan for his arrangements without worrying about going back to work. These are arrangements and decisions no family should have to make. No Mom/ Dad should bury their baby.

The second is that you PLEASE talk to your children about bullying and the impact it can have on their peers. Our babies are losing their lives. They are suffering in silence. The only thing we can do as parents is to make sure our children feel safe to come to us and talk to us about bullying, how they are feeling, or even tell us of another child being bullied. We just might be able to save a life.

Landon & The Fight Against Bullying Update

*long post warning*

Im sure by now you've all heard of the 11-year old FPSD student who passed away (potentially) due to injuries from another filmed attack. This morning I found out about a Franklin Pierce walkout that took place at 9am and joined the Franklin Pierce School District families page to work with their district and hopefully districts across Pierce County to take this fight against bullying to the next level - and hopefully a higher platform.

I posted this on the FPSD Families page and had the idea to start a Facebook group page for the cause, that I can send you all an invite to so we can discuss topics surrounding this and bounce ideas off of each other. I hope we can join forces to put an end to this. I was hoping to effect change before things got to this level. My concern was - Any of our children can be the next Landon. Tragically the next "Landon" lost her life.

We are fighting an uphill battle against the school district and State Legislation to demand change for our kids.

I just heard about a FP district walkout this morning. I joined to stay posted on your district walkouts and hopefully join forces. I've been trying to organize a county wide walk-out to stand up and demand change. So far we've gotten participation from schools all over from Auburn to Tacoma in regards to the Feb walkout for Landon.

I'm going to create a page/ group for us all to join together. I'd love to partner with some of you to get things moving on a larger level. We've been attending Graham Kapowsin School district board meetings - sharing our story and stories of others, demanding change with no response or anything from the District or State legislators. We've gotten zero response from anyone at all done about this. Now we've (potentially) lost a precious baby due to bullying. I only say potentially due to the latest news article.

We have started a non- profit, are working on legislation change, we are taking this as far as we can go. Full disclosure we are suing the s**t out of the school district for knowing about the fights, the instagram fight page and doing nothing about this.
