We will be doing this worldwide event on May 2nd. We are inviting over 1 million Scouts worldwide to participate. We're making history as this has never been done before. We already have Scouts registered from 40 councils around the world. If your council is not listed, would you please ask them to register so I can add them to the list?

At 5:30 local time, on May 2nd, Scouts all around the world will read the entire sacred texts of these world religions - Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, and Muslim faiths. In addition, Scouts in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Christian, Eastern Orthodox, Hindu, Sikh, and other Faiths will be also reading their Sacred Texts.
Scouts can participate in one of three ways.
First, read Sacred Texts at home with their family.
Second, read Sacred Texts at their faith location.
Finally, ask a Scout friend to join them.
Participating in this event could help satisfy the Duty to God requirement necessary for advancement.
