On Sunday, during a ceremony hosted by Eaton Township's Veterans Memorial Committee, community members gathered for Memorial Day to honor two veterans interred at that cemetery who had served in military ranks 250 years ago.

Compatriot Wendling unofficially deputized his daughter as an acting "Daughter of the American Revolution" to help build cement molds and plant our 2 patriot grave markers in cement today for the ceremony on May 24.
