Congratulations to the Taylor County FFA Chapter and Taylor County Middle FFA chapter members for their success in the tractor driving contest.

Today's regional tractor driving event results

In the Lawn tractor category all 3 individuals qualified for state:

Cooper Hays: 1st place
McKenzie Jones: 2nd place
Jayce Mapel: 3rd place

Taylor County FFA Chapter also had a qualifier for state in the Zero turn tractor.

Braxton Rush: 3rd place

Congratulations to all the FFA participants within Taylor County.

The Taylor County Fair has supported the Taylor County 4-H program for years as we see it as a tremendous program and opportunity for the kids in the county. Thank you for all of the community service that you have provided to the county. We encourage everyone to look into the 4-H program and all of the opportunities it can provide for your children.

There will be tickets available at the gate tonight for the Rodeo. Gates open at 5:30. $20 VIP seating includes chairs and the best views. $10 general admission, no seating provided, bring your own chairs.

Congratulations to the Taylor County Middle School FFA Chapter for their success at the state FFA contests.

5th place team for middle school Food science. 8th place team for middle school Agriscience. Eden Lambert placed 3rd individual in middle school Agriscience.
Great day for Taylor County Middle FFA and our first time competing in CDE'S (Career Development Events).

Congratulations to these Taylor County 4-H members on their success at the 4-H Livestock Judging contest today.

Congratulations to three Taylor County 4-H members who participated in the WV 4-H Livestock Judging contest today at WVU. As a team, they placed 3rd overall in the junior division and 3rd in the sheep portion of the contest. As individuals, Eden Lambert finished 1st overall in the juniors, 3rd in swine, and 1st in sheep. Audra Murray placed 2nd in the junior reasons class. Westen Lambert completed their 3 person team.
