DSP Paula and her group are regulars at Mequon Nature Preserve. Every visit includes a little meditative swinging, a sensory walk to spot birds, butterflies, and frogs. Afterwards, they head indoors to hang out, color, help shred papers, and share their lunches. The consistency of this experience is very enjoyable. This visit included a quite golf cart ride around the nature preserve.

Rodrigo and Julie had two different groups meet them at Tulip in Port Washington for Art Class. This class featured Matisse, a famous French artist known for his Paper Cut-Outs period (1940-1950). Inspired by these paper cut-outs, Rodrigo created a fun game where each participant picked their shapes to add to their piece by tossing dice and picking from the number landed on. Balance's Growing Together Gala is coming up on October 1st! This group met with Farmer Rick to plant our centerpieces for the event. Gabby, Roni, Hilary, Jayden, Chloe, and Hannah planted all the smaller plant cells into larger pots that will grow into the perfect-sized tabletop centerpieces. Thank you, Farmer Rick, for your kindness, generous donation, and for opening up your farm for us to visit. 🧑‍🌾🪴🚜
