It is with devotion to the memory and love of Grant Schoen that we commit to creating HEARTSafe Wisconsin beginning right here at home. He passed away at the age of 10, October 17, 2013 from sudden cardiac arrest. His passing has been heart breaking for our family and his friends and devastating to his parents and sisters. We all feel fortunate to have each other for support and are especially gra

teful for the Grafton/Cedarburg community. Multitudes of people have gone to extremes to help in every way imaginable. Grant was a talented athlete involved in several sports and activities. He was a dedicated teammate and thus won the friendship and respect of many on and off the field. It is remarkable how many lives he touched in just 10 years. Given his competitive spirit and natural drive it seems only fitting that the force of his energy continue on. Grant is the driving force behind a movement to save lives in our communities throughout the state. In memory/honor of Grant Schoen and HEARTSafe Wisconsin . Mel's has provided another AED in our community.
Harrigan Development Services provides both Vocational and Supportive Services. Their client population includes individuals who are at-risk, who have a disability, or who simply need extra support to move forward in certain aspects of their life.
It was the perfect gift as they move into their new office in Cedarburg.

Mel has provided another AED in our community.
AEDs are used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. It's a sophisticated yet easy-to-use medical device that can analyze the heart's rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electrical shock or defibrillation to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm.
