Do you remember? I do. 9/11... I had just walked my youngest (Cassidy) to school. I was watching the morning news and talking on the phone with my sister. We watched in horror, all broadcast live, as the first plane went into the tower and then the second. We sobbed as we watched people jumping from the windows of the building facing a certain death that way instead of burning to death in the flames. That was the most shocking. Some had their hands folded and legs crossed as they fell. I cannot imagine the horror of the decision. We saw the people choking on the streets and struggling to breathe and then the horror as the first responders entered the building and soon after the collapse. We also watched as the Islamic extremists publicly took responsibility and shouted for joy and burned the United States flag. There is no difference in these or the ones who threaten Israel today, by the way. We see them today invading our nation slowly and protesting in our streets and trying to remove our flags and replace them with their own. We see them demanding things from our government and stopping traffic to protest this nation's decisions. We see a weakened government caving to their demands. This is a war that is not over. It is the anti-Christ. I will never forget. Have you? It has enforced my voting choices ever since. I vote for Christian morals and life and always will. I see the moral decline. Why don't we call it what it is? S***m and Gomorrah are reappearing. The bad is fun and accepted while those with morals and respect are mocked. Our children are being targeted. I pray for eyes to see and ears to hear, but truly what does my opinion matter? I am less than a little ant in a big huge world. We can only win this battle like David beat Goliath. With the strength and power of Who we serve behind us. Otherwise, to die for Christ is still to gain. I believe, therefore I still win. My battle is the Lord's. I want to hear from Him, "Well done my good and faithful servant." I remind myself of that Scripture blessed are they who do not see yet still believe. In the end, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I choose to live for Him. There is no way that we can deny Him and receive the gift of heaven. Someone said if you believe in God why do you even vote? The answer is because He wants us to help save as many as we can.
