**UPDATE**

We continue to meet bi-weekly and engage in discipleship and Bible study. Our chapter has grown and another chapter may be developed as a result down the road. God has been working in the hearts of our officers and stirring us toward love and good works. Right now we have officers from several agencies across Lorain County attending our meetings, and each one is an Ambassador of Jesus Christ to their respective agency, an “FTO” in the making — “(F)aith (T)raining (O)fficer.”

If you are interested in attending a meeting, please send us a message. Thank you to those of you praying for us, please continue to pray for us moving forward.

“let us draw near with a sincere heart in the assurance that faith brings, because we have had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water. And let us hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy. And let us take thought of how to spur one another on to love and good works, not abandoning our own meetings, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and even more so because you see the day drawing near.” — Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭22‬-‭25‬ ‭NET‬‬

Pray for Law Enforcement, it is a “Mission Field.” Pray for us, it is OUR Mission Field. 🙏🏾

Pray for Law Enforcement, it is a “Mission Field.” Pray for us, it is OUR Mission Field. 🙏🏾

Take a beat with us. 💙

Each Tuesday, we pause to reflect on officer safety—and this week, it hits a little harder. July saw the highest number of line-of-duty deaths so far this year.

Even as we move toward what could be the lowest total in more than 100 years, every single life lost matters. Our hearts go out to the families and departments in mourning.

We learn from our fallen. We honor them by staying safe—and looking out for each other.

Today’s FTO Bible Study was a great time of fellowship, food, and cultivating faith in Jesus. We discussed utilizing “Operation Timothy” as a tool for discipleship (Session 5 of Becoming a Spiritual Reproducer) and what it would actually look like being a “Paul” to a “Timothy.” Vince then concluded our time with our “5.0 Bible Study” which was out of Luke 8:16 and discussed what it looks like for us as Christians within Law Enforcement to not only shine the light of the Gospel to those we work with (and for), but to BE that light.

“No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.”
—Luke‬ ‭8‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

ABIDING ON DUTY: “Prayer-Pause and Bible-Break”
Our fellowship with God is vital and should not be neglected while on patrol. Throughout your shift make time for a “Prayer-Pause” and find somewhere to go and talk with God. Do the same for a “Bible-Break” making time to read God’s Word.

Here is an example —
If you work 12’s and are on night shift (6pm-6am) you could do this:

**10pm Prayer-Pause (10-15 mins)**
**2am Bible-Break (10-15 mins)**

Of course you must be flexible with these as calls for service and other matters come in while on patrol. However, we make time for the things most important to us — as Christians God should be our top priority when we have some downtime. This practice will not only make us better Christians, but better Cops.

Thank you Jesus. Please continue to pray for Officer Wagner’s family, as well as for Officers Payne and Gale 🙏🏾
