We are going to be busy this week in scouting
On Wednesday at 6:30 pm we will be meeting at the Hewitt road Cemetery in Petersburgh about a 1/4 mile south of the Rt-2 & Rt-22
All scouts, Families, friends at welcome
We will be removing the old US flags and replacing them with new flags
All units of our scouting family are invited

Cub Pack 222 in Grafton learning about hand tools, what they are supposed to be used for and safely using them.
Eye protection first,
A Hammer
Pliers
Phillips head screw driver
Flat head screw driver ( Not a chisel)
Rubber mallet (Not a soft hammer)
Prybar Pry bar
Tape measure
Nuts 🔩, Bolts, Screws, Nails
I think that Joan hit the Nail on the head with this meeting. But it also got all screwed up/in
And we lost our Nuts & Bolts over all the fun we had.
We also went outside to hold our Flag ceremony but our Flag was in tatters and it needs to be replaced.
We also loaded up a pickup truck full of returnable Bottles and Cans to be returned for the Cub Scouts.

Next meeting everyone should bring a bar of soap and a butter knife we will be carving the soaps with the butter Knives working on our Whittling Chip!

If you know a friend from school 1st -5th grade bring them to a meeting they might want to join after they see how much fun everyone is having.

Something to do this weekend

Beat Cabin Fever and bring your Cub Scouts or Scours ice fishing at Rotary Scout Reservation on Saturday, February 12.
There will be ice fishing experts on the lake before 9 a.m. drilling holes and hot chocolate and a fire on Seneca Lodge porch when you need to take a break. Come out on Davitt Lake and try your luck. Bring a pole. We will have bait.

How to take Youth Protection Training

Go to My.Scouting.org.
Log in or create an account.
Click the “Youth Protection Begins With You” logo on the right of the screen. (There’s a separate button to take the course in Spanish.)
You’ll see a course called “Mandatory — Youth Protection Training.”
Follow the prompts onscreen as you proceed through the three modules: Overview and Policies, Sexual Abuse, and Bullying. After completing all three, you’ll be asked to take the YPT Certification Test, which you must pass with a grade of 75% or higher.
