Attention American Legion Taylor County Post 12 members. At our May meeting we cancelled the June 2026 meeting due to several Post officers being at The American Legion Mountaineer Boys State camp as staff members. Now due to the American Legion Department Convention in July, we must cancel our normal meeting night for July.

The executive committee has decided to hold July’s meeting on Wednesday July 1, at the VFW in downtown Grafton starting at 7:00 pm. This meeting will cover the two cancelled meetings. Hope to see you there. Sorry for any inconvenience.

This morning, Commander Robinson awarded the 2026 Taylor County Post 12 scholarship to Sophia Austin. The scholarship is awarded to the GHS senior who best demonstrates and supports the principles of the American Legion: veterans, defense, Americanism and youth. Congratulations Ms Austin!
