FFA members and anyone who is able or willing to: Let’s get together to help clean up in our community after the storms.

We have more storms coming tonight, so let’s plan to get together to help clean up at Citizens Memorial Park tomorrow.

Bring rakes, trucks, gloves, kids — whatever you’ve got — and let’s work together to help get things cleaned up. I know a lot of people are already tackling the big debris, but sometimes the smaller stuff gets overlooked. We can help rake, pick up branches, and clean up the little things so the park can be safer for our kids to play again.

If anyone has any other areas that you need help cleaning up, please reach out to us or an FFA member.

GTRA FFA members attended the State Leadership Conference (SLC) last week!

Congratulations to Ryan Girres and Bella Rutter on earning their Iowa Degrees — a huge accomplishment that reflects their dedication and hard work.

Lexi Griffith, Ty Saul, Hannah Studer, and Jennabell Walmer represented GTRA FFA in the Poultry Evaluation CDE.

Throughout the conference, members had the opportunity to connect with students from across the state, attend leadership workshops and sessions, explore the career and college fair, hear from an inspiring keynote speaker, listen to retiring state officer addresses, and gain insight from a national officer.

We’re proud of all of our members for representing GTRA FFA so well!
